We go back to basics, to one of the first pieces that started it all.

As a new mum with a co-sleeping baby. I got up with the sudden urge to paint these words that hovered in my mind for days. I was so full emotionally with these words that I needed to release them into a painting. The words below are not mine, but words from the greatest bestseller of all times, the Bible.

The words:

“The earth was without form and an empty waste, and darkness was upon the face of the very great deep. The Spirit of God was moving (hovering, brooding) over the face of the waters. And God said, Let there be light; and there was light.”
